Why did you want to become a sourcer?

Over the past few years, my partner and I have been exploring property investments. We’ve completed several property courses, and our passion for the property market has only grown stronger.

Inspired by our mentors, we’ve decided to focus on deal sourcing. This allows us to share our knowledge and help others with their property journeys, all while expanding our portfolio.

We’re committed to using our experience to support individuals on their property adventures, while also pursuing our investment goals with enthusiasm.

What was your favourite sourced deal?

As a new player in the property sourcing sector, we’re currently diving into our first few deals with investors. At this early stage, we’d like to share our approach with you. We begin by closely collaborating with investors to understand their strategies and preferences for property investment. This includes identifying target tenants, property types, and preferred locations for asset acquisition.

Drawing on our deep understanding of the local market, we are well-equipped to advise investors on finding the right property for their needs.

Our process involves thorough research on the target property, compiling comprehensive information, conducting initial viewings, and negotiating prices where necessary. We then present a detailed report of our findings to ensure transparency and informed decision-making for our investors.

What would you like to see from the sourcing sector?

We believe in improving the sourcing sector through collaboration and ongoing learning. This means better training, compliance, and networking opportunities. By embracing these initiatives, we can elevate our businesses and the sector as a whole. 

Why did you join NAPSA?

We decided to join NAPSA because their values resonate strongly with ours. After reviewing NAPSA’s code of conduct, we whole heartedly believe it sets the standard for how the sourcing sector should deliver service.

Any advice you’d give to people thinking of going into sourcing?

Advice for those considering sourcing: Focus on building your network and cultivating a close relationship with a mentor. This combination of networking and mentorship can provide invaluable guidance and support as you navigate the sourcing landscape.
