What does NAPSA Membership mean to you and your business?

The reason I joined NAPSA was to stay informed about regulatory changes and ensure I remain compliant as compliance is an ongoing process. As someone working in the regulatory sector, compliance is crucial to me, and being part of a network of like-minded professionals and investors who share this commitment is invaluable.

It has highlighted several areas of compliance that I hadn’t previously considered, and it’s reassuring to know that I now have the right information to operate safely and responsibly, without inadvertently supporting illicit activities.

Having NAPSA accreditation provides credibility and helps attract clients and partners who are aligned with my values and intentions. I look forward to continuing my learning journey and connecting with other members of this supportive network


Why did you start a property sourcing business?

I started my property sourcing business to generate additional income and support my lifestyle. Through this, I developed the skills and confidence to take action and purchase my shared ownership property. Initially, I owned 50% of the lease, but I now fully own 100%, which provided me with valuable insights into property investment.

My goal is to assist time-poor investors in expanding their property portfolios and to educate landlords on how to provide safe, warm homes for tenants. While I began in residential property, which I was familiar with, market conditions prompted me to pivot to commercial property. This shift has opened up greater opportunities and allowed me to better serve my clients.


What made you choose your sourcing location?

I have chosen Croydon as my focus because it is my home town and offers significant opportunities for growth and development.

The area boasts excellent transport links to Gatwick Airport, Central London, and the Southern Coast, making it highly accessible. With a vibrant young population, Croydon presents ample opportunities for innovation and community development tailored to their needs.

Currently, there are ongoing development projects, as well as many homes that require regeneration and modernisation. This creates an ideal environment for investors looking to capitalise on the area’s potential. Rather than relocating, I am committed to making a positive impact within Croydon, aiming to be a key resource for investors and developers as demand continues to rise.
