On every single NAPSA sourcing agent to make sure they are operating compliantly and professionally.

Checked

We check all registrations, insurance and legally required documents to make sure they are fit for purpose and will protect both the investor and sourcer. This process is carried out manually by a two-step expert compliance team for accuracy.

Approved

Once we've made all of the checks, we will make the sourcing agent 'approved' so they become live and searchable on NAPSA's platform. Investors can search and message all of our approved agents directly for more information.

Monitored

We don't just leave it there, throughout the year we carry out checks to make sure all registrations, insurance and business practices are kept up to date. We only keep agents who can continuously prove they are operating compliantly.

We Don’t Charge Investors a Penny

We want investors to feel they have a safe space to search and contact sourcing agents. As a National Association, we have developed our platform to improve our sector and not profit from it – which is why we are different to other sourcing platforms – we don’t charge investors a penny.

The ONLY fee we take is from our sourcing agents of £295 +VAT so that we can continue to carry out compliance checks and maintain and grow the search platform for investors to utilise.

The Property Ombudsman (TPO)

As the only Ombudsman within the private property sector and with over 30 years' of experience, TPO has an unrivalled level of expertise that will help NAPSA agents set the bar for other sourcing agents to follow.

The Property Redress Scheme (PRS)

PRS is a consumer redress scheme, authorised by the Government since 2014 to provide an impartial service that considers consumer complaints about a variety of property related issues.

Does it cost anything for searches?

As NAPSA is a not-for-profit association, our key goal is to improve professionalism within our sector, and we wanted to make sure we did this without impacting investors. This is why as an investor you will pay nothing for searches, results, contacting sourcers, or any fee from the deals.

How do I know Sourcers are Compliant?

All sourcers have to apply for members through NAPSA by paying an annual fee and completing a rigorous check process, based on the NAPSA Code of Conduct. We only make a sourcer ‘live’ and searchable once they can prove they have all legally required documentation and processes in place.

What do I get if I Register with NAPSA

For investors who have tried our search platform and haven’t found a matching agent, we offer a free registration service so our team can message you when an agent becomes available. When you register, we’ll also send you useful tips and resources for keeping your business safe – you can opt-out any time.

How do I make a complaint about a Sourcer

Whilst we hope this never happens, sometimes deals and relationships don’t work as they should. Please go to our Complaints page to complete the form – checking you have exhausted the property redress avenue first.
