Registering your business with NAPSA is a four-part process, and each part has a short video to walk you through it.
Before you start, the single most important thing to know:
You do not need everything in place to begin.
Really. Complete what you can and leave the rest blank. You have three reviews with NAPSA in your first year — and the first one is designed to be a draft run. Its whole purpose is to let us see what you've got, what's missing, and what needs adjusting, so we can guide you from there.
Some members prefer to get their documents checked and approved before paying for registrations. That's absolutely fine. We work around what suits you.
Step 1 — Register your business
Head to your Registration tab and open the form.
The only field you must complete is your company name — and please make sure it matches the name you registered with. That registered name always appears at the top of your board, so you can copy and paste it straight in.
From there you'll work through:
Registrations and insurance — leave anything blank if you haven't set it up yet
Data protection and AML training — select the date on your certificate and upload it for each
Upfront company fees — fill in what you can; if you're unsure, leave it and we'll come back to it
Your company profile — this is what we use to build your searchable profile on the NAPSA website
Can't finish in one go? Click Save as draft, scroll up, and copy the link that appears. Paste it into the bookmark on the right-hand side of your board so you can pick up where you left off.
If you're on a normal browser and haven't cleared your cache, you can usually just come back and click "continue editing" on the pop-up. But if you clear your cache regularly or work in private mode, that saved link is your safety net, so please store it just in case!
Step 2 — Upload your documents
If you've completed the Complete Programme, you'll already have every document listed here. Have a quick read of the important notes at the top, then upload what you've got.
To upload — take your Terms of Business Agreement as an example — click upload, choose from computer (or Dropbox, Google Drive, wherever you keep them), and select your file. A few seconds later the status changes automatically to ready for review.
Upload everything you're able to. Anything you haven't got yet can follow later — it just helps us build a clear picture when we come to review.
Step 3 — Submit for review
This is the step that starts everything. Submitting your registration form does not begin the review — our team only picks it up once you've completed this form.
It's short: your company name, your email address, and confirmation that you're happy with our terms, that your information is accurate as far as you understand it, and that you understand your review allowance.
Hit submit and our team is notified. Please allow up to seven working days while we go through every document, every registration, and all the information you've provided.
Step 4 — The review process
Once you've submitted, your board changes to keep the focus on your review, and your account status switches to In review (shown in orange).
At the top of the Review page you'll find the date we expect to be finished by. The status shows working on it and changes to Done when we've completed it. If we need more time — or finish early — we'll add a note and let you know.
How each item is handled
Missing items. If something hasn't been submitted, we mark it as missing and pause that part of the review until we receive it. Just upload your certificate or proof of purchase and we'll pick it straight back up.
Feedback. If a document needs changes, its status shows feedback and you'll find our notes in the comment bubble — plus an email with the detail, so you can click straight to the item, acknowledge it, and ask any questions.
To make it easier, we download your original file into the NAPSA column and often highlight the exact areas that need attention with notes added directly in the document. Download it, make your changes, and re-upload — our team is notified automatically.
Your company details. Anything you've added in your form — your profile, logo, photo, company FAQs — sits under your Business section. If something's missing (company FAQs, for example) we'll flag it and add examples you can work from. Type or paste yours straight in, hit reply, and we'll review it.
Goal dates. We add these to each feedback item so you know when we're expecting a change. As always, they're flexible. We'll send friendly nudges, but if you need more time just say so — the dates exist to stop things getting forgotten, not to pressure you.
The finish line
When an item is checked and approved, its status changes to approved and the goal date is struck through. The aim is simple: get everything on this page green. That's when we know your whole profile has been checked and accredited.
